Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000

What will you be doing?
- Checks and reconciles General Ledger accounts and bank statements
- Maintains mainframe computer and network including troubleshooting and installation of new programs and/ or updates.
- Schedules and follows through on monthly House Bank audits.
- Assists in preparing forecasts and budgets.
- Prepares monthly financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and all accounting books.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities asked by Controller based upon department needs.
- Supervises staff in compiling month- end closing reports. Oversees preparation of monthly forecast and variance reports and visually reviews for accuracy.
- Calculates and produces daily deposit transmittals for checks received.
- Assumes duties of Controller in his/her absence.
- Four year college degree required, preferably in Hotel Management.
- Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems.
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems/programs such as PeopleSoft, Excel, etc.
- Good interpersonal skills with verbal and written communication skills.
- Good supervisory skills.
