What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher Marcus Bar Grille position at MARCUS SAMUELSSON RESTAURANT GROUP?
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure all equipment and food required are available to the waiters at the appropriate time.
- Wash and clean all cookware from kitchen production in accordance with our standards.
- Ensure appropriate dish area presentation; how to set up, how to clean, chemicals and temperature setting of dish machine.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize pots, pans, and all other cookware utensils.
- Keep kitchen floor clean and wash area free of food residue or any other debris.
- Knowledge of floor maintenance, equipment used, and of chemical safety and usage.
- Knowledge of dumpster procedures and cardboard.
- Waste removal and safe lifting practices associated with waste removal.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines.
- Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste.
- Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
- Other back of house duties as assigned by management.
