Atlassian Developer
The Atlassian Developer will be responsible for the design, identifying gaps and requirements to develop and deliver customized applications/projects to meet the product outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain workflows in Atlassian JIRA and other Atlassian products including tool administration and customization
- Install and configure plugins and deploy to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, and support JIRA configurations in alignment with the Product and Capabilities Aligned Process Design Document.
- Design custom JIRA workflow for different issue types to assist in provisioning enhancements and incidents integration workflows bidirectional to and from ServiceNow
- Develop creating JIRA templates, and complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes in JIRA
- Develop components (add-ons/APIs/plug-ins) or customizations for the Atlassian JIRA platform/Atlassian SDK and ready to be published for Atlassian Market Place.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and JIRA
- Develop performance management metrics (SLA and KPIs) out of the box and based on DevOps requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years working experience on Atlassian Products – JIRA, Xray, Confluence, and other plugins
- 5 years of experience in JIRA development
- Experience using Java and web-based architectures and technologies (REST, XML, JSON)
- Solid software development experience and talent
- Working knowledge of Java application servers
- Any experience using Open-Source frameworks is a benefit
- Experience with distributed, multi-tier, mixed technologies, software architectures, and product publishing for Atlassian Market Place.
