What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Marga Consulting LLC?
The Process Engineer is responsible for development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI), identifying and implementing improvement projects, conducting root cause analysis for production and maintenance issues, and collaborating with the operations team on program deliverables. Additionally, you will be involved in equipment evaluation, compliance with standards and legislation, and mentoring and training newer team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
- Support Plant Equipment Install / Debug / Launch / Continuous Improvement.
- PFMEAs Review / Simulation Review / Control Plans / Launch Deliverables.
- Automation troubleshooting, new equipment installation and modifications.
- Hands-on root cause analysis on production, engineering, equipment, and maintenance issues
- Experience working with and troubleshooting robotics / controls systems, Control Logix PLCs and plant application controls and automation.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD software.
- Able to effectively work with external machine builders and system integrators for detail design, build and integration of later stages of machine system implementation.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of self-motivation.
- Demonstrated technical project management experience.
- Strong logical and methodical reasoning capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors in STEM related field
- Experience: 3 Years of Experience
- Technical Skills: Equipment Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting. PLC Troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management – Lead Process Engineering Projects
