What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVICE ADVISOR position at Marhofer Chevrolet Inc?
SUMMARY
Open and close internal repair orders as needed, direct shop technicians in used car shop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Process internal repair orders daily.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and serve as service safety team representative.
- Maintain a 72-hour average turnaround time.
- Handle repair orders and Hard copies.
- Make sure appropriate service mangers and office managers get copy, accounting gets copy and Copies are scanned.
- Perform any other special duties as requested by service & parts director.
- Issue Purchase Orders to vendors for supplies and sublet labor expense for repairs and enter the item on service repair order for Accounts Payable.
- Gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Maintains quality repair process standards for vehicles.
- Notify service & parts director. of additional repairs and estimated completion time.
- Update through all stages till Close ticket using the dealerships Recon Advisor and DMS system.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: May be added or removed as required.
- Writes and closes all POs.
- Writes and closes all UCIs.
- Writes and closes all PDIs (Just changed to her)
- Manages the loaner fleet.
- Posts and closes all service contracts.
- Schedules and handles all We Owes
- Assists in answering phones.
- Scans and uploads all ROs.
- Manages all Valets for Genesis
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must obtain and maintain any certificates, licenses, and registrations as required by Dealership.
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License that meets dealership insurability requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to be on foot for up to four hours at a time with no restrictions.
- Ability to stand/sit with no restrictions.
- Ability to enter/exit and operate a motor vehicle with no restrictions.
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds at one time with no restrictions.
- Other duties may be added as required.
