Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant dining experience while efficiently handling food orders and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math.
• Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and food handling regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and helping with general upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards throughout the service process.
• Provide prompt assistance to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash register operations.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.01 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
