Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate, Biology or Scientist, Biology to join Mariana’s Biology organization, advancing personalized medicine and radiopharmaceuticals. You will work as part of the team that is responsible for the validation of new targets and executing preclinical studies to advance the development of the next generation of radiotherapeutics.
Illustrative Breadth of Responsibilities:
- Be a critical part of highly innovative, fast-paced, fully integrated biology team
- Be a member of biophysics team responsible for maintaining critical instruments and for delivering affinity and kinetics data to drive SAR and to identify lead molecule(s)
- Design and execute in vitro experiments to investigate lead molecules’ mechanisms of action and to identify potential biomarkers in disease setting
- Optimizing and transferring assays to CROs
Requirements/Skills:
- Senior Research Associate: BS in Biology, Cellular or Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline, plus 2 – 5 years’ industry experience; MS in Biology, Cellular or Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline, plus 1 – 2 years’ industry experience
- Scientist I: BS or MS in Biology, Cellular or Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline, plus 4 – 6 years’ industry experience; PhD in Biology, Cellular or Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related discipline, plus 0 years’ industry experience
- Hand-on experience in tissue culture, molecular and cellular biology techniques
- Experience in experimental design and data analysis
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational and record keeping skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player with a great sense of urgency and accountability
