Job Summary
This position is scheduled to begin August 2025. Implements, manages and instructs a diverse student population in the Construction Management program using innovative teaching and learning techniques. Advises students, maintains office hours, assists with registration. Develops Construction Management curriculum and courses using traditional and innovative methods of instruction using the Canvas Learning Management System. Maintains professional competence, and participates in professional activities, construction advisory committee, recruitment efforts, and career / job fair. Assists in the development of budgets, orders equipment and supplies. Develops and maintains strong relationships with local industries, EVIT and WEST-MEC CTEDs and local high schools to secure enrollment, internship sites, assist in the placement of graduates and serve on the construction advisory committee.

Minimum Qualifications
The Occupational Teaching Fields require the following from an accredited college or university :
Desired Qualifications
A. Previous teaching experience at a university, college, technical or vocational school
B. Degree discipline in construction management, applied engineering science, or vocational technical education
C. Previous experience with different teaching modalities including in person, hybrid, online via computer, online only on your own time
D. Experience teaching construction management methods, materials, project management, estimating, statics, dynamics, and heavy equipment
E. Experience with course and curriculum development
F. Experience with delivering courses on Zoom, Webex, or Google meets
Special Working Conditions
Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver's License is required; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving :

Local travel to multiple colleges and area high schools is required. Local travel to various MCCCD campuses is required.
