Treatment / Appointment Coordinator :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive treatment / appointment coordinator with a calm and patient demeanor for our state of the art, fee for service, periodontal, and dental implant practice.

This role is responsible for keeping our busy schedule organized, efficient, and well-integrated with the practice systems (training provided). The treatment coordinator will review treatment plans, answer questions and address patient concerns. In addition, the position ensures that quality dental care is financially accessible to patients and determines the best financing options for recommended treatments. This role requires excellent communication skills with a high dental IQ and works closely with the clinical team to navigate patients through their treatment journey. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Job Type : Full-Time

Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

Requirements :

2 years experience working in dental office setting

Knowledge and understanding of dental procedures

Goal-focused, and results driven

Supportive, friendly, and positive attitude.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Passionate about helping people.

Responsible, Ethical, and Punctual.

Career oriented.

Bilingual preferred but not required

Responsibilities include :

Organizes and maintains a productive and smooth schedule based on our practice scheduling principles and systems.

Prepares patient financial action plans and paperwork for treatment.

Coordinates patient financial arrangements according to the financial policy.

Maintains appropriate financial documentation, including signed financial agreements and consent forms

Maintain detailed documentation of all communications

Presents the treatment plan via phone and email communication, addressing all patient questions and concerns

Arranges the patient’s treatment-planning schedule and books all appropriate appointments.

Monitors payments to ensure treatment financing is followed through appropriately.

Review patient profiles to ensure all information is complete and accurate, including medical history, allergies, and insurance information

Submit Pre-Determinations as requested by the patient and reviews with the patient upon receipt.

Skills :

Proficient in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Competent in the use of standard office equipment including telephones, calculators, copiers, fax, computers, and computer software (Google, MS Word, Practice Management software).

Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations.

Ability to engender trust from doctors, co-workers, and patients.

Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.

Welcomes learning opportunities and accepts constructive criticism

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas effectively
