Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and amazing Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an age-appropriate curriculum to promote preschool-aged children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Tasks:
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to support each child's individual needs
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience
- Incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Provide opportunities for creative expression through art, music, and play
- Foster a love for learning through engaging activities and interactive experiences
- Open to learning a play-based and faith-based philosophy.
Qualifications:
- 12 ECE units (Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred)
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Familiarity with play-based and faith-based philosophy approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Understanding of early intervention strategies and special education principles
