Job Summary:

Marina Lounge is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. The ideal candidate will have 5- years prior experience, excellent observational skills, strong decision-making abilities, and the ability to handle situations calmly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or disturbances.
• Enforce venue rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Check identification to verify age and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations.
• Escort disruptive or unruly patrons from the premises when necessary.
• Work closely with management and local law enforcement as needed.
• Provide assistance to guests and staff in emergency situations.
• Write detailed reports of incidents and activities during shifts.
• Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid security license or certification (if required by state regulations).
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
