The Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) is seeking an experienced full-time year-round Research Program Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Research, this position will play a key role in supporting the Division of Research by managing communications, coordinating meetings and events, handling visiting researcher registrations, and ensuring efficient administrative operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office setting with occasional lifting (<30 lbs). Minimal exposure to biohazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Manage research communications, assist with scheduling, maintain records, and support visiting researchers.
- Commmittee & Workshop Coordination: Organize logistics for committee meetings, workshops, and related reimbursements.
- Visiting Researcher Administration: Process registrations, coordinate housing and lab access, and oversee compliance with institutional policies.
- Event Planning: Support and execute research-related events, including seminars, meetings, and fellowship programs.
- Financial & Account Management: Assist with expense tracking, reimbursements, and financial documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably in a non-profit or academia.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.
- Event coordination experience is a plus.
