Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Site Coordinator/Assistant Director to manage the daily operations of our after-school program for kindergarten through 5th grade.
Responsibilities
- Supervising enrolled students and program staff
- Engaging effectively with students, families, and team members
- Training staff and delegating tasks appropriately
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum, ensuring all activities are well-organized and effectively communicated.
- Assisting in the planning and management of the summer program.
- Tracking and managing supplies, including ordering as needed.
- Managing supply budget efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Addressing and resolving behavioral issues promptly and effectively.
- Facilitating conflict resolution in a positive manner.
- Maintaining compliance with Department of Early Educations and Care regulations.
- Developing and distributing parent newsletters.
- Serving as a positive role model, creating a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable environment for students.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development trainings.
- Communicating regularly with the Director regarding site concerns and daily activities.
- Assisting in setting up and taking down program equipment and ensuring the cleanliness of the space after use.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable sitting on floor.
- Capable of lifting up to 40lbs.
Ideal Candidate
- Prior Site Coordinator experience preferred
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and proficient in basic computer applications.
Must be at least 20 years of age with a high school diploma and a minim of 1 year experience working with school-age children.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,500.00 - $52,500.00 per year
