Job Description
Marine Travelift in Sturgeon Bay, WI is excited to be adding a 2nd shift Paint Helper to our team. As a Paint Helper, you will prep items for paint such as steel beams and other items related to large custom engineered lifting machines used in marine and industrial applications.
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 1:30PM-12:00AM (3-day weekend)
Job Responsibilities
- Tag parts with labels so the parts are painted correctly
- Brush Paint small parts and touch up spray painted parts
- Sand parts to prepare them for paint
- Forklift Operation to move parts from one location to another
- Operate the Overhead Crane when working with very heavy parts
- General Clean Up of paint area
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Job Qualifications
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to wear a full body garment
- Must be able to be fitted for and wear a respirator
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the entire shift
- Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
