Toddler Assistant Teacher

Marine View Childcare and Preschool in Everett, WA is a family owned and operated, fully licensed childcare center. Offering care to children 6 weeks old - 5 years old.

We want our teachers to be reliable, dependable, experienced and passionate about children. We are willing to pay a competitive hourly wage of $16- $19 an hour.

All employees at a licensed childcare facility must be able to pass a state background check.

Job Description:
We are looking for professional teachers who are passionate and dedicated to providing a high quality of care for children and excellent experiences to families. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong communication skills, a strong work ethic and a desire to grow.

An ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in Early Childhood Education is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds throughout the workday to at least waist high

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers to promote learning and socialization.
• Assist in creating and implementing lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Support classroom management by fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and well-being.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom.
• Utilize strong communication skills to engage with young children and support their growth and development.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
