This Generalist role is a key member of the HR culture and experience team. The Generalist provides support services to the Mariner associates, the HR team leader, HR business partners and program managers, and coordinates processes and other activities to drive efficiency and accountability.

This Generalist role is a key member of the HR culture and experience team. The Generalist provides support services to the Mariner associates, the HR team leader, HR business partners and program managers, and coordinates processes and other activities to drive efficiency and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Main contact for policy & procedure guidance for all associates (HR inbox)
- Takes ownership of processes for Human Resource Culture Experience (HRCE) team areas of responsibility (cyclical processes such as off-cycle associate changes, onboarding and offboarding
- Develop understanding of applicable and available technologies
- Establish clear and efficient processes, collaborating across the HR team and with other SMEs as needed to understand needs; communicate details and expectations, and drive accountability to processes
- Continually evaluate for process improvement opportunities and adapt as needed
- Manage Performance and Goals, full cycle
- Coordination of new hire orientation; participates in HR orientation presentations
- Develops and maintains knowledge of technologies/systems used by HRCE team (Culture Amp, Smartsheet, Reach 360, Oracle/HRIS, etc) and fulfills system admin role as applicable
- Partner with HR services (HR data and reporting) associates to provide data from HRCE systems to inform broader reporting needs
- Prepare and manage associate feedback surveys (engagement, onboarding, exit, other)
- Responsible for HRCE file management; Monitor HRCE file storage, periodically archive files and discuss file storage/structure modifications to support evolving team needs
- Prepare slide decks and Reach 360 courses for HRCE team for various presentation and training needs; collaborate with marketing as needed
- Support HR integration activities for acquisition groups
- Prepare/update slide deck and transition guide for each acquisition welcome
- Prepare employment documents and deliver packets to associates; monitor completion and alert team of delays or other issues encountered
- Other administrative tasks as needed
- Support business partners in associate relations matters
- Participate in PIP preparation discussions with managers; draft initial PIP where applicable
- Participate as 2nd chair/note taker on AR discussions and investigations
- May be able to take lead or independently handle smaller, less complex performance conversations with continued exposure and experience supporting the BPs
