What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Home Worker position at Marinette County Group Home Assn'?
Anthony House is a 12 bed Crisis Diversion home within the Marinette County Group Home Association. We provide transitional housing and programming for individuals in crisis, Mental Health Court, Drug Court, and AODA.
A Crisis Worker job is to provide care, support, and safety to residents of Anthony House as specified in their treatment plan.
Primary hours would be 10pm-6am, 4 weekdays and every other weekend.
Duties Include:
- Complete intakes of Residents as they enter for Crisis Diversion and/or AODA Treatment.
- Observation, charting and detail-oriented documentation
- Medication Administration according to CBRF and Company regulations
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Resident’s illnesses and how to utilize resources to research them.
- Provide services in accordance to Resident’s assessment and Treatment Plan and in accordance to Policies and Procedures, and House Rules.
- Provide informational and referral services to Residents.
- Responsible for implementing safety procedures.
- Plan and implement leisure and recreational activities.
- Organize records and files to meet state requirements.
- Help maintain the household/housekeeping systems by both performing tasks and supervision of residents perform such tasks where appropriate. This includes but is not limited to meal planning, meal preparation, shopping, kitchen clean-up, household planning, general cleaning and assistance.
- Outdoor chores such as mowing, shoveling, gardening, etc.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
- Must demonstrate patience, compassion, and respect to all individuals with mental illnesses and to those dealing with AODA and/or SUD.
- Must demonstrate the ability to deal with difficult behaviors in an appropriate manner.
- Must be able to accurately administer medication after training and certification.
- Must be able to lift, bend, walk, and twist to meet the needs of job requirements.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and insurance.
- Must demonstrate the ability to problem solve through difficult situations.
Qualifications:
- Have the physical and emotional capacity, education, and experience to respond to the needs of the Residents.
- Be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Able to pass a caregiver background check.
- Free of communicable illness detrimental to residents, including TB.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
