Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects, including residential and commercial properties. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as needed.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Restore and repair surfaces including drywall and stucco as necessary.
• Work with hand tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction painting or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in caulking techniques and drywall installation/repair.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities required for projects.
• Ability to weld or build structures as needed is a plus.
• Familiarity with stucco application techniques is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
• Experience using various hand tools safely and effectively.
