Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on construction sites. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
• Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete renovation projects.
• Perform drywall repairs as needed prior to painting.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on construction sites.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete projects within deadlines while ensuring high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial and residential painting.
• Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Experience with airless paint spraying equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial painting processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, lifting materials, and working in various weather conditions.

Pay: $20.84 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
