The Marion C. Early R-V School District located in Morrisville, MO, is accepting qualified applicants for the position of Head Girls Volleyball Coach. MCE is a 4 day school week district located conveniently between Bolivar and Springfield, MO.

Summary
The Marion C. Early R-V School district is seeking the first ever dedicated and experienced Head Volleyball Coach to build and lead our new volleyball program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the court, and will have the opportunity to build up a program from the ground up. The 2025-2026 school year will be a Middle School schedule only. The following year of 2026-2027 school year will be High School Schedule and Middle School Schedule.
Teachers / Coaches are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning. Teaching/Coaching experience preferred, but not required. 60 Credit Hours are required if you are not a full time teacher in the district. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the volleyball program.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to improve individual and team performance.
- Collaborate with athletic department staff, parents, and community members to support the program’s success.
Qualifications:
- Previous volleyball experience
- Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and recruit athletes into a new program.
Supervisory Duties.
Supervise students at all times

Education
Bachelors Degree, Graduate Degree preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
A valid Missouri teaching certificate and complete transcript(s) of college credit must be on file for each teacher before the beginning of each new school year. It is the duty of each teacher to possess a valid certificate that covers the academic year (the teaching assignment/s and all other areas listed on the certificate). The teacher must assure that all professional development requirements and other DESE requirements are met to keep certification current.
