The Information Technology Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and security of server infrastructure and applications. The Systems Analyst is also responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and security of associated systems such as storage and networking components. The Systems Analyst should ensure that agency applications and infrastructure meet the requirements of both internal and external customers in addition to making sure supported systems satisfy agency objectives for security and uptime.JOB PREREQUISITES:
Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Windows Server deployment, maintenance, administration, and security.
Experience working with common networking protocols, services, and security layers.
Understanding of the principles associated with database maintenance and administration. 2 years of experience with IT infrastructure systems and application administration preferred.
Experience with virtualization systems preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business awareness.
Must be willing work beyond normal hours of operation.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and with the written word.
Must be able to Pass a Criminal Background Screening and Drug Screening Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends.

Both indoor and open shop environments. Some amount of time may be spent in buildings or vehicles with uncontrolled climate conditions. Exposure to possible electrical hazards.
