What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Tutor - Strings position at Marion Cross Elementary School?
The Marion Cross School seeks a dynamic professional to work with our elementary students that are interested in exploring string instruments.
This part time position is for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, and is open until filled.
POSITION TITLE: Strings Advisor

General Purpose: Strings instruction for students at Marion Cross School
Reports to: MCS Administration
Supervises: N/A
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Services to be provided:
- Strings instruction for up to 30 students.
- Advisor will meet with students 2 times per week for 45 minutes each time or 3 times per week for 30 minutes each time for 36 weeks.
- The Advisor will meet with students before or after school.
- The Advisor will plan for this instruction and keep a log of time spent with students.
Payment will be issued in 1 installment:
The installment will be processed at the completion of the activity and distributed prior to the school’s year end. No payments will be issued without authorization from the Co-Curricular Administrator.
Must comply with all SAU 70 District policy and building / department rules, procedures, practices and objectives.
