This is a fully in person, contracted position in Boston, MA
Group Facilitators may work between 1-5 days per week and are needed Monday-Friday from 6pm-9pm.
An extra stipend is available for Friday night only.
Yes, we have free parking, and we are located directly across the street from the Green Line, Babcock Street station.

Key Responsibilities:
- Group Facilitation & Client Engagement:
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to group start time with prepared materials.
- Plan and lead structured therapy, psychoeducational, and support groups
- Ensure group topics align with program objectives and client treatment needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all participants
- Encourage active participation while maintaining professional boundaries
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with therapists, case managers, and clinical staff to support client progress
- Communicate client concerns or progress updates to the treatment team as needed
- Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely group session notes in compliance with program policies
- Ensure all documentation meets HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Track attendance and report any concerns regarding client participation
- Program Support & Development:
- Assist in developing and refining group curricula based on client needs
- Stay informed on evidence-based group therapy techniques and best practices
- Provide feedback to program leadership on group effectiveness and areas for improvement
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Experience: Prior experience facilitating group therapy, psychoeducational workshops, or support groups in a behavioral health setting preferred
- Strong understanding of group dynamics and facilitation techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to foster a safe and inclusive group environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR). Kipu is preferred but not required
