Scheduler, Production

Role Purpose:

The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the tactical production schedule to ensure finished good availability to meet our customers needs.

Accountabilities & Impact:

• Work with Central planning to create an efficient production schedule that meets the demand profile while balancing plant constraints & material/ingredient availability
• Work with the Operations team to develop/modify the production schedule and associated batches to optimize line efficiency & output
• Communicate with the central planning group to improve inventory coverage and review demand requests for opportunities to improve plant efficiency
• Work with the Raw Materials Planner, Packaging Materials Planner and the Warehouse group to ensure that materials are available to execute the production plan

Skills & Experiences Needed:

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or related field; or, equivalent professional certification in Supply Chain (required).
• 2-4 years related experience in Scheduling, materials planning, purchasing, or customer supply chain, logistics, etc. in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics, ERP systems & data management.
• Proficient in computer and software skills such as MS office, Power Point, word, and email.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and power BI.
