Materials Production Planner

Role Purpose :

The Materials Planner-Scheduling is responsible for creating and maintaining the tactical production schedule to ensure finished good availability to meet our customers needs.

Accountabilities & Impact :

• Work with Central planning to create an efficient production schedule that meets the demand profile while balancing plant constraints & material / ingredient availability
• Work with the Operations team to develop / modify the production schedule and associated batches to optimize line efficiency & output
• Communicate with the central planning group to improve inventory coverage and review demand requests for opportunities to improve plant efficiency
• Work with the Raw Materials Planner, Packaging Materials Planner and the Warehouse group to ensure that materials are available to execute the production plan

Skills & Experiences Needed :

Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain or related field

2-4 years related experience in Scheduling, materials planning, purchasing, or customer supply chain, logistics, etc. preferred
