Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal ductwork for HVAC systems, ensuring precision and quality
- Use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery (such as shears, brakes, and rolls) to cut, bend, and shape metal sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of ducts
- Measure, cut, and fit metal sheets to the required dimensions
- Ensure all ducts meet industry standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection of fabrication equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with other team members ensure efficient project completion
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Minimum of [2-3] years of experience in sheet metal duct fabrication
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with various sheet metal tools and machinery, including brakes, shears, lockformers, spot welders, roll formers, spiral machines, gore lock machine, etc.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a fabrication environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and installation is a plus
- Experience with custom ductwork fabrication for complex projects
- Familiarity with CAMduct would be a plus
