Senior Financial Analyst

Mark IV Capital is a privately held, growth-oriented real estate development and investment company headquartered in Newport Beach, CA focused on acquiring, developing, owning, and operating commercial real estate investments. The firm is seeking an ambitious Senior Financial Analyst to join its Colorado team, working from our Denver office.

The role of Senior Financial Analyst is to support a regional team comprised of vice presidents and property managers in implementing strategies, achieving building goals and portfolio goals. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide impactful decision-support across several of the company’s business functions, including leasing, operations, acquisitions, construction, and development. This is a position with the opportunity for growth and increased responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Analyzing lease proposals and the credit worthiness of prospective tenants
• Discounted cash flow analysis of properties using Argus and Excel
• Lease preparation and administration
• Acquisitions due diligence, including credit analysis, lease abstracts and third-party report review
• Supporting regional team in development efforts, including drafting development analyses, coordinating with consultants on various design and entitlement efforts, and drafting of memorandums for equity and debt financing
• Obtaining and analyzing market information relating to proposed or existing investments
• Tracking internal rates of return for existing properties
• Prepare various reports for management review
• Supporting property managers with tenant improvement projects
• Managing marketing efforts pertaining to the firm’s real estate portfolio
• Occasional travel to corporate office for company events and meetings.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in finance, real estate, economics, or accounting
• 1-4 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst with a proven track record of financial analysis and strategic decision-making
• Real Estate industry experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with excellent knowledge in Excel
• Working knowledge of Argus

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Argus, REFM, CFA Level I preferred
