Mark Maker is looking to hire a full-time Graphic Artist in our Grand Rapids, Michigan location. Mark Maker is a family-owned manufacturing company in the packing industry.
In this position, you play an important role in the creation of flexographic printing plates for our customers. Using attention to detail, you accurately read all machine specifications and CAD drawings. Creating files that adhere to industry standards and customer specifications. Each job is a custom plate so there is plenty of variety in your day!
Qualifications
- Proficient in digital design and graphic design principles
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of color management, color theory, trapping, typesetting and image manipulation.
- Experience with typography and visual design
- Familiarity with production design and layout design
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
