Part Time Tasting Room Associate

Marked Tree Vineyard is a family owned winery located on the Continental Divide in Flat Rock, NC. Our award-winning wines are all estate grown and our vibe is modern, clean, and sophisticated.

We are seeking energetic folks with the following skills, abilities and attributes:

• You love wine. Duh. And may have experience in wine.
• Prior restaurant/wine sales experience is preferred.
• You are available to work weekends and special events.
• You might have another job, and want 1 or 2 shifts per week.
• The ability to effectively present both yourself, the brand, and sell wine.
• Can learn about our wines and act as an informed resource for our consumers.
• Is able to effectively promote the wine club and recruit wine club members.
• Can tackle all the duties normally associated with tasting room operations; additional duties on the property include setup/serving/breakdown of weddings and events

Applicants must:

• Be least 21 years old
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Preferably have knowledge/experience with POS systems

This position will initially be for 1-3 days per week, and applicants must have weekend, weekday, and holiday availability and be willing to work extended hours including evenings as necessary.
