The Sr. Claims Reporting Analyst is the primary contact for Claims leaders and senior stakeholders with regard to requirements for Claims reporting, analytics and information systems.
The Senior Claims Reporting Analyst will support the Professional Liability and Cyber Claims teams by :
Job Responsibilities
- Engage with key stakeholders and provide Claims subject matter expertise to identify additional areas for improvement and provide key information and analysis to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Responsible for developing requirements and specifications that support business requirements, functional requirements, system requirements, and report specifications.
- Investigates operational opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization.
- Aligns strategic priorities and projects within Claims and coordinates internal and external communications to ensure overall efficient operation
- Works with Claims to design and make recommendations on reengineering the processes and identifying technology enablers for more streamlined processes in Claims.
- Specifies and develops test scenarios to test new / updated processes to deliver improved ways of working for the end user at the same time as delivering efficiencies and planned business benefits. Records and analyzes test results and reports any unexpected or unsatisfactory outcomes.
- Acts as a senior team member to ensure data projects continue to align with Claims priorities and business cases.
- Provides expertise to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the desired business outcomes.
- Writes and presents business cases.
- Designs reporting metrics for Claims.
- Oversees reporting projects to track various claims or market trends.
- Acts as a liaison across Claims to increase awareness and alignment.
- May travel up to 10% as needed.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, or 10 years relevant experience or a combination of both

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The national average salary for the Sr. Claims Business Analyst is $72,100 - $101,530 with 15% bonus potential.
