Job Duties
The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Senior Federal Reporting Analyst in the Federal Reporting Division.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
This position is responsible for managing, preparing, analyzing, and reconciling data that is required for Federal and internal reporting related to the Medicaid Administrative Grant.
Including the preparation or review of the agency's Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plan (PACAP), automated cost allocation system journal, the CMS 64.10 / CMS 21 (Admin) quarterly reports, the monthly Cardinal, MMIS financial, FN-O-016, Trial Balance and Statement of
Appropriation reports.
In addition review or key the quarterly SEDS informational reports.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications :
Knowledge / Experience working in an accounting operations and financial reporting environment.
Knowledge / Experience preparing complex financial schedules and reports including assembling, analyzing, and preparing reports and statements covering complex financial data.
Knowledge / Experience of data processing techniques in maintaining accounting records and creating work papers to support federal reports.
Knowledge / Experience of process management.
Knowledge / Experience with Cardinal or large main frame systems, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Knowledge / Experience conducting research, analyzing, interpreting, and applying regulations, state and federal laws.
Experience in prioritizing multiple work assignments and meeting scheduled deadlines.
Experience with internal / external stakeholders.
