Summary:
An Electrical Engineer IV at Markem-Imaje develops innovative product identification and traceability solutions using electronic design, testing, and troubleshooting expertise.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability of electrical systems. The engineer will lead new product development initiatives and be responsible for all phases of product development, from specification to validation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of customer requirements and expectations as it relates to product/system performance.
- Collaborate with other functional departments to ensure product/system performance objectives are met.
- Timely resolution of product/system issues affecting internal and external customers.
- Responsible for all phases of product development, including specification, design, implementation, and validation.
- Provide technical leadership to a small group of assigned engineers and technicians.
- Develop new electronic circuits or systems.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform assignments.
- Recommend complex components, architectural systems, and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
- Determine, plan, and execute design approaches and parameters through research and application of new technology.
- Remain current with various field concepts, practices, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 8 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience.
- On-going advanced coursework in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required.
- 10 years of experience developing PCBAs.
- Demonstrated ability to design and enter schematics and a superior knowledge of digital, embedded CPU, and analog circuits.
- FPGA and/or C programming skills a plus.
- Mentoring and leadership of less experienced personnel in an agile environment.
- Expertise in system design, analog and digital circuit design, solid-state power electronics, microprocessor and digital signal processor, software, local area networks, wireless communications, data logging, and electromechanical devices.
