Our client is a well-established custom machining operation that has grown nearly fourfold in the last 6 years. They need to add another sales professional to their team. You will be responsible primarily for new customer development but will also work to maintain positive relationships with existing customers. You will report to the Manager of Sales and Marketing.

  • What you will be doing :

  • Become a subject matter expert on the capabilities of the company in order effectively address the needs of their customers
  • The goal is to develop a collaborative partnership with customers and prospects, where both parties benefit. This approach fosters loyalty and long-term business relationships
  • Your primary focus is to drive revenue growth while ensuring that the business is profitable
  • Generate new sales through hunting and prospecting while also learning and anticipating current customer needs
  • Enter and prepare RFQ’s for customers and prospects
  • Support their Customer Service team as needed
  • Up to 30% travel domestic travel
  • What they are looking for :

  • At least 1 year of prior sales experience and at least 1 year of CNC experience in some capacity
  • Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Knowledge of and ERP system is helpful
