What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electromagnetic Spectrum Planner position at Markesman Group?
Markesman Group is actively seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Spectrum Planner to support mission planning and operations related to electromagnetic warfare, spectrum management, cyberspace operations, space operations, acquisitions, or operations research and systems analysis (ORSA). The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of these fields and a strong understanding of joint concepts, capability development, and operational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for electromagnetic spectrum planning and management.
- Support joint planning efforts and contribute to the integration of joint capabilities.
- Analyze and assess electromagnetic warfare, spectrum management, cyberspace, and space operations.
- Provide subject matter expertise in acquisitions, ORSA, or JCIDS processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across DoD agencies to enhance spectrum operations and policy development.
Basic Qualifications:
- With a bachelor’s degree: Minimum 8 years of experience in electromagnetic warfare (EW), spectrum management, cyberspace operations (CSO), space operations, acquisitions, or ORSA.
- Without a bachelor’s degree: Minimum 12 years of experience in one of the above fields.
- TS/SCI Government Clearance
- Proficiency in at least one of the following areas:
- Electromagnetic warfare (EW)
- Spectrum management
- Cyberspace operations (CSO)
- Space operations
- Acquisition program management
- Operations research and systems analysis (ORSA)
- Joint concepts and capability integration (JCIDS)
- Joint planning
