Meat Team Leader
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the operating performance of the Meat department at all times.
- Promote and develop Team Members with respect, inclusion, diversity, and dignity.
- Certainly deliver regular coaching and timely feedback to Team Members to improve their skills and development opportunities.
- Determine potential for growth and identify future leaders within the team.
- Nurture an inclusive environment that empowers each Team Member to contribute and share ideas.
- Motivate the team by sharing a passion for food quality and ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met.
- Implement open communication channels among Team Members to ensure everyone is informed and prepared to meet expectations.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to guarantee effective promotion execution and clear communication with Team Members and customers.
- Analyze store financial data and historical reports to optimize sales, profits, labor controls, and reduction goals.
- Accurately manage inventory levels and monitor fluctuations to prevent shrinkage and losses.
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience or recommendation from a Store Leader.
- Successful experience as a Peer Trainer or similar role.
- Background in Meat Cutting, Meat Processing, or Meat Science certification.
