Certification or Licensing Required:
- Pharmacy licensure
- Bachelor's degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties of a Pharmacist, including prescription interpretation, filling, and refilling, as well as reviewing clinical aspects and verifying patient receipt of accurate medications
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and feedback to team members as necessary
- Assist in mentoring and training new team members in the Pharmacy
- Stay informed about new drugs, therapies, and industry developments
- Advocate for positive change to improve patient care and Company performance
- Maintain professional relationships with outside partners, including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, industry representatives, and vendors
- Perform tasks of both Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians as required
- Oversee efficient dispensing of patient orders, following quality assurance policies and procedures
- Demonstrate adherence to Company, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations through example and coaching
- Ensure optimal team and patient experience through proper scheduling, delegation, and supply management
- Manage inventories by tracking reports, overseeing physical counts, and ordering medications and supplies
- Collaborate with retail team members to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Supervise staff development, performance recognition, and empowerment to maintain continuous engagement and improvement of department services
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment to meet Company, local, state, and federal requirements
