Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, operate the cash register, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu items, and promotions to effectively upsell products.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts related to sales and inventory management is beneficial.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
