Responsibilities:
- Market, present, and discuss Medicare Advantage (MA/MAPD), Prescription Drug (PDP), and Medicare Supplement plan with prospective Medicare Beneficiary clients
- Market products via Telephone, Seminars, Public Events, and partnerships, along with In-Office appointments.
- Facilitate the enrollment process and submission of enrollment applications through online enrollment tools or paper applications
- Communication skills and highly effective listening and communications skills
- Identifying and qualifying potential prospects generated from a variety of sources, including networking, referrals, marketing, telephone, referrals, and other lead sources
Experience:
- High school diploma or the equivalent – Required
- 2 -4 years of college preferred
- Must have a State Life and Health Insurance License or acquire one within 30 days (about 4 and a half weeks). Market Medicare Advisors will provide you with the cost of training and taking the initial test.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, medical field, or education/coaching background is preferred
- Previous Sales and or Customer service skills are preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently
- Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude
- Must have strong computer and phone skills
- Nights or Weekend hours may apply seasonally or as needed for client schedules
- Bi-lingual a plus but not necessary to apply for the position.
Compensation: Hourly plus commission.
Base pay : $40,000-$43000 per year, with the opportunity to earn an additional 10K in commission 1st year, and $20K year 2. As a recurring revenue model, your income and commissions will grow over time.
