1st shift: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm
Alliance Printing (AP) is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk with LTO experience in Dalton, GA.
Duties:
- Accurately ship and receive items using the processes required of the company's systems.
- Pick and package goods efficiently and accurately.
- Check information against packing slips and verify that inventory is correct.
- Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
- Safely and effectively operate forklifts and other warehouse lifting devices.
Requirements:
- LIFT TRUCK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Computer operation – Operation of inventory control software, ERP/ MRP, printing labels, word processing, spreadsheets, generate reports and ability to effectively communicate via email.
- Experience using FedEx system or use of comparable system.
- Prior experience in filling out domestic/international shipping papers (bill of lading, international commercial invoices)
- This full-time position requires the ability to multi-task in fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to position.
Push/Pull: Maximum force pushed/pulled: Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
Standing: Standing for sustained periods of time.
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
