Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will work closely with our experienced event planners to support the execution of a variety of events ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and weddings. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of event coordination, including logistics, vendor management, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials
- Help manage event logistics, including setup and breakdown
- Support the marketing efforts for upcoming events through social media
- Communicate with clients to gather event requirements and preferences
- Maintain an organized database of contacts, vendors, and event details
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with event planning software and tools is a plus
