Job Summary
The Event Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events to ensure they run smoothly and meet organizational goals. This role involves a mix of administrative duties, on-site support, and creative problem-solving to deliver exceptional experiences for attendees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and organization of events, including meetings, conferences, trade shows, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain event schedules, timelines, and budgets.
- Prepare event materials, such as invitations, agendas, and attendee lists.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.

On-Site Management:
- Support event setup, registration, and teardown.
- Provide assistance to guests and ensure the event stays on schedule.
- Address any issues that arise during the event promptly.

Post-Event Tasks:
- Collect feedback from attendees and prepare evaluation reports.
- Assist in reconciling budgets and processing invoices.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma required; a degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
