Key Responsibilities
- Load equipment onto trucks and travel to various job sites.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure vehicles are organized and clean.
- Connect electrical wires to circuit breakers, inverters, junction boxes, and other key components.
- Work at heights to install and wire solar arrays on rooftops.
- Install energy storage systems, including Tesla Powerwall batteries.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for the installation and replacement of wiring and fixtures.
- Conduct testing of electrical systems to ensure the safety and compatibility of solar installations.
- Proficient in climbing ladders and scaffolding.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Experienced in the installation and wiring of electrical cables and equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA-10 safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on safety.
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 7 years).
- A Journeyman Electrician license from Massachusetts (MA), Connecticut (CT), Rhode Island (RI), or New Hampshire (NH) is required.
- Previous experience as a journeyman electrician or electrical technician is preferred.
