Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for systems, process and making an impact in a fast-paced startup environment? We’re seeking a Director of CRM & Customer Data Strategy to oversee of our customer data ecosystem and own the sales and marketing strategies that will drive efficient, accelerated growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, loves working autonomously, and is excited about laying the foundation for long-term growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Director of CRM & Customer Data Strategy, you will be responsible for the following:
- CRM Strategy and Management: Lead the company’s customer data and CRM system strategy to optimize sales and marketing.
- Spearhead setup and implementation of CRM as part of company tech stack.
- Define processes for CRM and customer data across company (sales, marketing, client services, etc.), collaborating with divisions to support business objectives and ensure adoption.
- Oversee integration of CRM with necessary systems in tech stack such as ERP, marketing platforms, ecommerce, sales enablement, and other tools.
- Identify and oversee implementation of workflow automations to drive operational efficiencies, enhance marketing and customer experience, and maximize sales
- Lead Scoring and Qualification: Develop and manage a lead scoring system within CRM to prioritize and qualify leads for sales.
- Data Segmentation and Targeting: Develop strategies for effective audience segmentation and targeting to support marketing and sales efforts.
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze data to assess the success of projects, campaigns and business initiatives, and create dashboards to monitor key metrics, growth trends, and insights over time.
- Sales Activity Tracking & Reporting: Collaborate with divisional sales leaders to track and analyze sales activities, glean insights, and improve processes and forecasting.
- Data Integrity and Management: Work closely with system administrator(s) to maintain and enforce accurate, clean, and up-to-date customer data across all systems, enforcing best practices for data hygiene and governance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across business divisions, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure data alignment and meet organizational goals.
- Startup Problem-Solving: Adapt to a fast-paced, unstructured environment, wearing multiple hats and developing innovative solutions as the business evolves.

Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience: 7 years in CRM management, data analysis and sales support; experience with systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, Klaviyo or similar platforms.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of data flows, system integrations, and CRM setups; knowledge of customer acquisition and retention strategies
Analytical Mindset: Expertise in data analysis, segmentation, and performance measurement; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Leadership: A self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently, set a vision for data strategy, and influence cross-functional teams.
Startup Mentality: Comfortable working in an unstructured, fast-moving environment, with the ability to adapt, learn quickly, and find creative solutions to challenges.
