Build and Optimize Pricing Infrastructure Develop Scalable Pricing Process
- Design and implement pricing systems that standardize pricing processes across retail, channel, and direct sales.
- Develop pricing governance frameworks, approval workflows, and policy enforcement mechanisms.
- Lead the selection and implementation of pricing tools, software, and automation solutions.
- Partner with IT and analytics teams to integrate pricing data into ERP, CRM, and BI systems for real-time insights.
- Create repeatable and scalable processes for pricing updates, approvals, and compliance.
- Implement automated price lists, discount structures, and tiered pricing models.
- Define KPIs and reporting structures to measure pricing effectiveness and business impact.
- Act as the central pricing operations hub, aligning Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
- Develop and maintain pricing playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Work with Sales and Finance to ensure seamless quote-to-cash pricing execution.
- Establish pricing analytics capabilities to support dynamic pricing, elasticity modeling, and scenario planning.
- Conduct pricing simulations and competitive benchmarking to optimize margins and market competitiveness.
- Implement A/B testing and data-driven experiments to continuously refine pricing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have…
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field preferred or related experience.
- 5 years of experience in pricing, pricing operations, or commercial strategy. Experience working with healthcare distributors is a plus.
- Strong background in building pricing systems, governance frameworks, and automation. Experience with multiple processes and systems is a plus.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, BI, and pricing software (PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, or similar).
- Expertise in process design, workflow automation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and SQL or BI tools.
- Ability to balance long-term infrastructure building with immediate pricing execution needs.
