The Human Resources Professional oversees all human resources functions including, recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits, employee engagement, etc. The HR Professional carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include: compliance, benefits, payroll, advising leadership; recruiting, hiring, onboarding employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; investigations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; engaging with vendors.
Essential functions
- Plan, direct, or coordinate human resources activities and staff of an organization.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety(OSHA); and training and development.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

- Accurately maintain employee files
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, terminating employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
- The Human Resource Professional will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy.
- Any other duties as assigned
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
- At least 5 years of broad HR experience
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR highly preferred
- Strong knowledge and experience in marketing and call center environments highly desired
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
