The Role : Digital Marketing Manager
Organizational Impact
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for executing, optimizing, and analyzing digital marketing strategies for MarketPlace's B2C clients in the human and pet nutrition and wellness spaces. As a member of the Media Team, this position reports to the Media Director and collaborates with members of the brand strategy and creative teams to align digital campaigns with overarching brand strategies. The Digital Marketing Manager will focus on driving performance and ensuring measurable results throughout the full user journey and across digital channels, including Google Ads, social media, and / or emerging platforms.
Accountabilities
- Campaign Management & Optimization
Implement digital marketing strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, social media, and programmatic channels, focusing on the full funnel
Execute the launch and management of digital campaigns, ensuring proper campaign setup (audience targeting, bidding strategies, and ad placements)Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data, adjusting targeting, creative, and bidding strategies to improve outcomesProvide budgetary recommendations and manage ad spend across campaigns to meet client goals and maximize ROIPerformance Tracking & ReportingUnderstand platform and category benchmarks in order to establish key performance indicators
Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance metrics, including click through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spendLeverage insights from analytics tools (Google Analytics, Semrush, etc.) to refine campaigns and identify growth opportunitiesDraw insights from performance analysis and make recommendations for campaign adjustmentsPresent digital marketing performance reports to internal and client teamsPlatform-Specific Knowledge (security, specs, etc.)Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape, ensuring campaigns leverage the latest features and best practices
Embrace and understand new campaign types and their uses in a funnel marketing strategyDefine creative asset needs (writing, video, design, etc.), requirements, and best practices, and communicate them to team membersDigital StrategyCollaborate with brand strategists, creative directors, and other team members to develop digital marketing strategies that align with broader brand strategies and marketing objectives
Lead dialogue about digital marketing initiatives with the internal team and clients, pitch digital projects, and participate in new business callsDigital Vendor ManagementEstablish and maintain relationships with external digital vendors, including freelance and contract resources
