What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Development Manager - T&D position at MarketStar?
What will you do?
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Identify learning needs through collaboration with leaders and performance data analysis.
Design and implement leadership and employee development programs, workshops, and training sessions.
Leverage innovative learning methods, including digital tools, to enhance engagement and retention.
Partner with department heads and HR to align talent development initiatives with business priorities.
Act as a consultant to leaders on team development and individual growth plans.
Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of development programs and ensure ROI.
Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on program outcome.
Stay updated on best practices in talent development and integrate them into organizational strategies.
What will you need to succeed?
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills to drive impactful learning initiatives.
Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and facilitation techniques.
Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into actionable development strategies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across all levels.
Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and tools.
Certification in Learning & Development, such as CPLP or SHRM-CP preferred.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and performance management tools.
Knowledge of organizational development and change management practices.
Familiarity with coaching and mentoring frameworks.
Interest in emerging trends in workforce learning and professional development.

The salary range for this position is between $75,000.00 and $80,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of 10% annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education / training, internal equity, and key skills.
