We are seeking a Legal Support Specialist to provide firm attorneys and paralegals with legal and operational support. The Specialist also provides administrative and project management support to the entire firm. The position requires exemplary technical and organizational skills, attention to detail, strong client service skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Duties
- Downloading / uploading of legal documents
- Assisting with the preparation for trials and depositions including ensuring that documents and exhibits are obtained, copied, labeled and readily accessible
- Assisting with document production including creation of CDs, spreadsheets or paper documents
- Handling e-filings with courts in various jurisdictions
- Special projects
- Database input
- Copying, scanning and bates-stamping documents
- Assist with mailroom duties, as needed, including sorting through mail by reading, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents, save to Worldox and distribute
- Mail, fax, email, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, insureds and court
