Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

Qualifications

In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.
Candidate Must Possess The Following Qualities
- Punctuality is a must
- Ability to type 55-65 WPM
- Great communicator, both written and verbally
- Great communication skills
- Computer knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- Great time management skills
- Always maintain a professional image and friendly demeanor
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Checks in/out visitors in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and friendliness.Â
- Respond to all emails in a timely matter.
- Computer Knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Able to schedule appointments using outlook.
- Create UPS Labels for all incoming and outgoing packages.
- Manage confidential documents and filing accordingly.
- Report maintenance or equipment problems to appropriate personnel and management.
- Able to complete other projects and tasks assigned by management.
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 year of excellent customer service experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of front desk/lobby experience.
- Valid State Security License Required
- Valid CPR Certification Preferred (will assist in obtaining)
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment criminal background check and drug screening.
