This position oversees the daily security operations of a 24/7 Central Command Center, safeguarding the assets of the facility, employees and guests.

Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
- Answering routine and emergency calls, monitoring alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms and provides general assistance to both employees and guests.
- Maintains various records of communications and events
- Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence
- Escalate (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to the Supervisor
- Accurately maintains control of all equipment and keys in the SOC. Accurately logs all equipment and keys signed out and returned by Security or other parties
- Informs (without delay) the Supervisor of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems
- Proactively monitors all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Monitors and responds to all security and safety system alarms
- Answers and responds to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms. Controls and monitors the two-way communication systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid TN Security License required
- Valid TN Driver’s License required
- Minimum of two - three years of experience as an assistant security operations manager or supervisor with a contract security company or a proprietary security organization performing daily supervision of a Data Centre Security Team including high-end properties and/or commercial sites
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attentive to detail
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
- The SOC Operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to business, the brand and or employees
- The SOC Operator will monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch
associated calls via telephone and radio, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to both employees and guests - The SOC operator supports a Region and field teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug testing)
